Hello 2E3!

As promised earlier, I will upload the History materials that I mentioned in class. Here's a list of the things that I will be uploading and what you should do with them:

  • Chapter 5 PowerPoint slides: Please fill in the blanks (in the PowerPoint slides given to you) for 'The Opening of the Suez Canal', 'World War I' and 'The Great Depression'. Don't forget to do this because I will be collecting and checking your PowerPoint slides after the quiz.

  • Answers to Section B of the Recap Worksheet: I trust that you have completed Section B of the Worksheet. Please check your answer and do the necessary corrections. I will be collecting the Recap worksheet after the quiz.
  • PowerPoint slides that I used for the lesson today: First of all, thank you for being so attentive in class. It was really nice of you :) You can look through the slides that I used earlier in class today.
  • Videos I showed: I'll upload the videos I showed in class in case you wish to look at it again.

As I mentioned in class, there will be a quiz on Chapter 5 next week. The quiz would consist of MCQs and SBQs (Inference and Comparison). Here are some tips to prepare for the exam:

  • Read your textbook, Chapter 5.
  • Look through the worksheets that were given for Chapter 5.
  • Brush up your SBQ skills for Inference and Comparison.
If you need a crash course on SBQ skills, I'll upload some tips on how to handle SBQs. I hope they'll help you in your quiz.

So 2E3, use your time wisely during the weekend to prepare yourselves for the quiz. I'm confident that you have the capability to do well for the quiz. Please do revise and make sure you give your best when doing the quiz. Remember, you are not doing this for me or for your other teachers. You are doing this for yourselves. Give yourselves a chance to excel in your studies.

I'll stop being so long-winded. I hope you have a great weekend (despite all the studying you have to do) and all the best for your quiz! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. :)

Supporting you always,

Mdm Aini
